The only one I haven't tried yet, is to quit my antivirus !

I did a in-place repair by mounting an ISO, followed by annnooother sfc /scannow !



The restore operation was successfully achieved, and no issue with the sfc /scannow !???

I'll give it a try without the antivirus... but... we'll see

I use Defraggler by Piriform company the makers of CCleaner..
I either defarg one file at a time or do quick defrags.. I don't bother with FULL defrags ...
