Ran sfc /scannow (again !), and DISM.exe, and everything is supposed to be fine !

All the failed attempts have the same error code : 0x80070002

Checked the time service, it's on automatic and running.
The Windows Reset .bat, didn't change a thing nor the WU Troubleshooters !

    Help !
Maybe you have already gone through some or most of the steps in this troubleshooting guide, but I think it is worth a read:

And your SSD on road to premature demise. For SSDs it makes no difference, data will go where it's controller tells it. There are no beginning or end and no continuity like on spinning disks.

    Thanks @IronZorg89,

The only one I haven't tried yet, is to quit my antivirus !

I did a in-place repair by mounting an ISO, followed by annnooother sfc /scannow !

The restore operation was successfully achieved, and no issue with the sfc /scannow !???

I'll give it a try without the antivirus... but... we'll see

If you use the builtin windows defrag tool on an SSD it will just do a trim, not a full defrag.

    ooh nice to know..
I use Defraggler by Piriform company the makers of CCleaner..
I either defarg one file at a time or do quick defrags.. I don't bother with FULL defrags ...
