I only hope my 2005 version of Microsoft Money (UK version) still works in anew version of Windows! If we have Windows 11 then we will have elevenforums and we will have to start again earning points and badges.
It would make sense to unite all of the forums starting from Vista, seven and the rest into just one. If windowsq is that, then great. They should then offer an option to merge accounts because it is annoying to have to register and maintain several. The separate domains are great for SEO & marketing but they should just be aliases to a subforum inside windowsq.

I can show you an example site for this if interested, though it's not a Windows forum but you get the principle.

Along those lines, Windows 98 Second Edition also comes to mind.

If they were going to be true to their word, and Windows 10 is to be the last version of "Windows"? The new release will not have Windows in its title. Somehow I don't see that happening.
Need to start giving them a lie detector test...

That's weird. They said windows 10 is a service and that it would be the last windows, being upgraded forever.

    I guess, change of plans?
After doing a few searches I found out that it was a quote from one employee who isn't qualified to make that statement.

Windows 10 "the last OS that you will ever buy" that's what I recall.

Yes, that's what I remember too. Well, plans change, money speaks! They can charge money for upgrade to a new edition, and they sure will.
A buy-once-use-forever model that Windows 10 seemingly had, or was supposed to have, was too good to be true it seems.

Not necessarily, it activates from your existing W10 Pro digital license because it has the same *3V66T generic key as W10 Pro. Names can easily be changed before release.....
