We have Windowsq.com so I think we'd move to that.
You can see cloudflare is running over there. Same problems as I had here.

Yes, followed by all of the threads of
1). How do I get all of my existing software that I use to work
2). How do I install all of my windows games.

I've been pretty happy with Windows, Linux and MacOS. All of them seem to work pretty well.

You hit the nail on the head, will our software still work or will M$ impose people (not me) to rent their software in a cloud where they have access to all of your personal data? I am running Office 2003 because I don't like the ribbon and they would love to have me rent Office 365.

That would be bad if Windows is a subscription service then Microsoft will end support all their software on other OSes.

    Terrible.

I can guarantee that if MS goes full Subscription for Windows Pro Edition, I'm out. Linux or MacOS here I come.

I won't ever be going the subscription route. For Windows or Office. I'll just keep running Windows 10 and Office 2019 Pro.

So does this mean on October 14th 2025, the list of "known Issues" will be blank?

Keep using 10, hackers will be too busy trying hack 11. Windows 2000 was the worst version, hackers loved it.

Android works perfectly on the devices it's designed to run on --I'm sure someone could port it to PC's. Keyboard, mouse and multi-monitor functionality needs to be significantly improved though. Full screen single task apps are OK for phones but not for PC's with large monitors -- that said Android is a pretty robust OS though -- you don't hear of mega problems people have on their Android phones with the OS. There's also plenty of gaming infrastructure on Android and the Free office.com from Ms works on it too although I suspect that would change if Android seriously began to challenge Windows.

As for Linux I don't have any problems using it - It's stable, runs efficiently and most of the applications I need --for the rest I can run Windows Virtual Machines indefinitely so I'm not bothered in "End of support" in any case.

    cheers
