I still use it (just used it). Works for me without issue. What specific issue are you having?

Busy lately, but all applicable machines now updated. No issues to report. Interesting that Dev Channel is on hiatus until on/after June 24 except for CUs. You'd think they'd test the servicing channel through the Beta Channel and the Release Preview Channel instead. Don't get it, but understand they're pausing for political/strategic reasons. Should be interesting to see what happens on 6/24!

Haven't touched it in months. I use System>Storage and go from there.

I too, use it frequently (Disk Cleanup), and it works without issue, for me.

I also sometimes, use System/Storage, as f14tomcat mentioned.

Both seem to accomplish the same result, at least for me.

Perhaps the issue is between running Beta channel vs Stable channel.... just a thought.

They both currently have the same code so would make no difference. Both options have been available in RTM and Insider builds for some time.

Maybe Microsoft thinks tossing an occasional bone might keep us quiet, even if they are small ones.

I find that when I use System Storage and then use Disk Cleanup, DC always finds a lot of files. However, when I use DC first, System Storage finds nothing ??

Chris for me it installed the .NET update first and after that the CU.

I'm on HDD though not SSD so for both of them in total it took like 35-40 minutes. Also the KB you're talking about it is installed for me.

    Here's a screenshot

    Chris,

Whereas we used to get separate updates [SSU & CU of which the SSU always had to be installed first], we now get a CU that can be a combined SSU-CU.

KB5003173 was one of these cases, a CU that incorporated an SSU.
    See KB5003173 CU - TenForums

But KB5003637 also incorporates an SSU - as shown in my CP, PnF, View installed updates
[unlike yours, mine was not cleared by the update]
    Attachment 336607
So it ought not to require that previous CU at all.

This is a strange situation and I believe it is a symptom of mistakes in version control at MS. If it is not a mistake then it means MS now insist that we do not omit any CU unless we first check that it does not incorporate an SSU.

To resolve your problem you could either
    - Make a system image to be on the safe side then just go ahead and install KB5003637 by downloading it using the link on page 1 of this thread,
    or
    - Download the previous CU first using the link on page 1 of its thread KB5003173 CU - TenForums, install it and then install the current KB5003637 CU.

    What a mess.

    All the best,
    Denis
Many thanks Mikey89, WXC and Denis(Try3) for getting back to me, very much appreciated.

It appears I was looking in the wrong place for the Update, so I'm very pleased to say with your help I have now located it (as below).
I have also learned something new from your reply Denis regarding SSU and CU (LCU) in the Update process.

Many thanks to all of you once again,

    Chris.
