The latest update to windows 11 check program is now showing all my processors do not meet the requirements. All of them have either 6 or 8 cores and range from 2.2 to 3.8 ghz. So, no mention of anything it was showing yesterday????? Go figure

After the MS Event Broadcast, Paul Thurrott and Mary Jo Foley BOTH said that the compatability App program to check if your PC is Windows 11 ready is NOT working correctly.

Apparently a new version is due to be released shortly.

The health checker updates itself if you already have it installed.

As far as why M$ has made these seemingly arbitrary cutoff points - over on elevenforum.com Z3r010 has posted a new thread that might point everyone in the right direction with regards to why they have done so.

Windows 11 enables security by design from the chip to the cloud | Windows 11 Forum

Such discussions about whether you can run 11 or not, and why and such, are probably better relegated to that forum (which is run by the same folks are here, it's a sister site to here).

Hi @jh30uk . Don't know if the post was aimed at me but I wasn't even discussing the Health Checker.

@ Fabler2: It was towards the post above yours, I did not wrote him as you had not posted while I left room came back then hit reply so you appeared between us.

Quoting every post like many do get a big bloated and I only do it if I need to, it was obvious, I was referring to him as you said you neve mentioned the tool.

Also getting some lag/delay in posting when I hit the button here and did not see the post between us right now till I refreshed,
