Laptops do not appear to have a removable tpm chip slot, the chip appears to be integrated into the motherboard, soldered on. If this is the case for all laptops, it is not normal. This is something that must be added to the list of components soldered on certain laptop, memory, wifi adapter ...

I hope so too. I went into my BIOS setup and TPM and Secure Boot are enabled, TPM is 2.0. This is nuts.

have you disabled csm in bios so now it should be disabled for windows 11?

edit: There are precautions you can take to disable csm.

Convert Windows 10 from Legacy BIOS to UEFI without Data Loss

    Thanks for posting Mike.

The need for TPM is going to create a massive hardware buying cycle.

I went into the BIOS and found a setting "TPM - discrete" and changed it to "TPM - firmware" and now it says all is good...
So I think a lot of people are going to be seeing false negatives on the ability to run Windows 11....

Hopefully the word will get out that for many there will be a simple setting they can change in order to run it...
    Great call out here Sedril,

I went into my BIOS and was under AMD fTPM was able to change from Discrete to firmware and re-ran the check and my box is good.

What is CSM? I see no mention of it in any of my BIOS settings...

None of my computers meet the requirements; however, I do have TPM 2.0 compatibility and everything else requirement but still says not compatible with Windows 11.
