Quite a many well known tech writers are referring to it as Windows 11. It is not a "Windows 10X" build. ISO is totally normal, I have now done a few virtual machine installs, one "real" physical install, and one install to a native boot VHD.

Updating from WU is exactly the same in-place upgrade install than the one using ISO. Only the upgrade delivery method is different.

I of course must apologize, I had no intentions to upset you. I have not the faintest clue, why you feel offended or upset, my post was 100% factual.

Suits me. Your cursing when replying to me makes me even more confused, I will try to remember in the future to first require your permission per PM, before quoting and / or replying your posts.

    Really confused, but sincere

Just chill out, my dear friends. My advice is not to be worried for a few offtopic posts, this thread has seen worse. We will know the details about this... new version? soon enough, June 24th isn't far away. Until then, no point really in speculating, it is a news forum. So I'm dropping too, but no cleanup required in my opinion.

On last comment to help with the confusion. Your first reply to my post was a very abrupt and patronizing

    No

Maybe it's the language and/or culture difference, but that was rude and set a very bad tone for your post. You do not have to agree with me or anything, I don't care. To me, that was patronizing and rude.

    I hope that helps.

When was the last time Micro$oft excited you with an OS that hasn't even been announced yet?

Let's face it - the 9xxx builds of Win10 weren't spectacular. neither were pretty much any builds of Win8, And Win 7 when in development after the Vista flop in the beginning were not all that good - although, I will say, the Win7 early builds were probably the fastest to fix things that were broken in Vista quickly.
