I'm sure that when the time comes MS will offer a upgrade path so we won't have to start over with a clean install unless we want to. Or at least I hope so. I just went with a clean install on my new desktop. It was a pain and took a few days but I got it setup. I did have to contact MiniTool to have my Partition Wizard key deactivated. After I installed my single license key I found the email for my 3 license keys.
I couldn't care less about the name MS is going to call it. I'm interested in the changes they are going to make to the OS. I'm also interested to know If we can do a upgrade or will we have to do a clean install. If they go subscription I'll have to think about what I want to do.
If it happens, I won't be going the subscription route. For Windows or Office. I'll just keep running Windows 10 and Office 2019 Pro.
So does this mean on October 14th 2025, the list of "known Issues" will be blank?
I recall being pretty excited on October 15, 2014, running the first W10 Technical Preview............,
... I don't think I'm gonna get excited this time around!
By the way, I have just noticed, that the new Windows has a rounded dot on "i".
10 has a square dot. That corresponds with the upcoming round corners GUI.
