Watched the event, not live, and not completely, but enough to confirm that Microsoft was correct. Windows 10 is the very last version of Windows . . . that I will ever install.Talk about bloat. Just give me an Operating System that works, and works well. I'll worry about the rest.
Think of Windows 11 as a refined and polished Windows 10.

Yeah I have SB but it's off, checked for TPM but I can't find it. Checked really hard in BIOS, everything! Same thing for SB, well hidden prob! (Changes to Windows 10 install thingy in BIOS won't bring up SB either)
I have 2.0 tpm and nothing in the bios regarding a tpm setting. but my computer is compatible for windows 11. You may not need a tpm option in the bios for windows 11 compatibility. You might only need a tpm 2.0 module to buy for the motherboard.

Can't activate secure boot in bios?
It has been said in a comment in this thread, secure boot is not a requirement for windiws 11.

I'll turn it off and run WindowsPCHealthCheckSetup to see ...

edit: I disabled secure boot and started WindowsPCHealthCheckSetup I am compatible with windows 11.

Down loaded and ran it. Failed the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0 check.
I noticed this at the bottom.

Although TPM 2 is enabled (and secure boot) PC Health Check still shows that W11 cannot be installed. Have sent feedback FWIW.

    Windows 11 minimum specs:

    • 1Ghz 64-bit dual-core processor
    • 4GB RAM
    • 64GB storage
    • 9-inch display (1366x768 resolution)
    • UEFI, Secure Boot & TPM 2.0 compatible
    • DirectX 12 compatible graphics / WWDM 2.x
I updated my thread in 11 Forums.
    ...& TPM 2.0 compatible

    We're definitely stuck.

It looks like I'm stuck with Windows 10. | Page 3 | Windows 11 Forum

Oh, for @steve108 , @kado897 and any others following the broken busted Startup Impact on Win 10 since last August, it is alive and well on Win 11. At least until it's officially released.

    ......
I was hoping to get an answer

Unfortunately my PC doesn't have TPM or TPM module connector, so no Windows 11 for me unless there's a workaround for the RTM version

    Hi folks
On a VM I can "Emulate" TPM 2.0 (Pass thru for real hardware available too but emulated might be a good test) so it might be worth a try with an "Official Build" when available -- I've had no problem with the previous leaked build. I wonder also if isos will eventually become available via UUPDUMP as well.

OK this VM is a W2K19 Server but I can create a W11 VM with similar "Virtual hardware" once I get official Iso. The Unofficial one worked perfectly. On my machine if TPM is disabled in the BIOS then I can't add TPM via add hardware in the VM as it doesn't show up. Enabling it then I can add. I think the TPM is integrated into the MOBO -- some computers need a separate chip.

@johngalt -- do some other VM systems allow "Emulation of TPM" even if the physical hardware doesn't exist. - Some old MBR systems (although capable of UEFI boot) allow VM's to use UEFI and secure boot even though they have been booted up in MBR / legacy BIOS mode. VMWare seems to be quite flexible in that type of thing. Do older MBR only boot machines have TPM functionality -- if they do probably not 2.0. Just a query so don't spend a lot of time on it !!!

    Cheers
