New
#10
There was ALWAYS going to be a NEW OS, regardless of what they said. I have downloaded the video to watch latter or tomorrow. It will be interesting if nothing else.
So what have us Windows Insiders been "previewing" then? Are they going to continue making Win 10 updates while throwing another whole OS on top, like Win 7 and Win 8? Will our Win 10 Pro licenses let us upgrade to Win 11 for free? Too many questions here. I will just wait for the announcement...
To add to what was said in post #9:
I've been using Windows 10 since it was first released in July 2015 - almost 6 years ago.
I've never had to pay for it, and I've never obtained it by piracy means.
All of my computers that originally came with or were running Windows 7 are now running Windows 10.
I thought it was going to be called Winux
It'll probably turn out to be a load of fuss about nothing, new icons, new emojis etc.
I STILL have unused Win7 and Win 8 licenses that have not been tapped to activate Windows 10 due to some service MS had for having several licenses for each version (Pro, Ultimate, N etc). Just use the key to activate Win 10.
