    Firefox... taming the beast !
    Disabling proton and some font adjustment is all I need. Could probably live with proton too but I do hate those outline tab borders.

    Unfortunetly... i have to say i liked the old design way better than this crap. Looks like it was designed for tablets and phones.

    Do NOT freakin' believe what software has come to... everything now resolves around making it compatible with tablets and phones and when you want a good piece of software to work correctly on PC platform you get bugs and idiotic UI elements that don't help at all.

    Everything does seem to be geared for the tablets and smartphone platform which I guess all of the money is nowadays.

    Well this new version completley lost all my bookmarks and screwed my mail server connection. WTF are Mozilla playing at.
    No warning just updated, a complete cock up from start to finish. I've used Firefox since Netscape and now it's F*****ed cos it wont except older profiles and for what, some stupid new interface with adds. Really pissed off with this new version.

    I like the improvements to the dark theme, now all menus show dark background color but I don't like so much padding in vertical space, bookmarks take too much space.

    The Tweak "browser.proton.contextmenus.enabled= false" also will break the dark theme (dropdown menu will be like before white background color).

    I lost the System Theme colors. Until this gets fixed I'm not happy with the change.

    If it's only the bookmarks vertical spacing that disturbs you it is very easy to correct. All you need are these lines in userChrome.css (experiment with the numbers yourself):

    #PersonalToolbar {
    font-size: 14px !important;
    margin-bottom: 3px !important;
    }
    #PersonalToolbar menu,
    #PersonalToolbar menuitem {
    font-size: 14px !important;
    min-height: 22px !important;
    max-height: 22px !important;
    margin-top: 1px !important;
    margin-bottom: 1px !important;
    padding-top: 1px !important;
    padding-bottom: 1px !important;
    }
