When installing and you get to the Let's add your account screen, if you do NOT have an MS Account, and you do NOT want an MS Account, can you still continue with the installation whether you are connected to the Internet or NOT?
    Hello Paul,

If you mean while doing a clean install, you should be able to use step 25 below when you get there to set up Windows with a local account instead of a Microsoft account.

    Clean Install Windows 10

@Brink Is that true even with Insider Dev? MS allows Local only? I thought you had to have an MS account to do Insider.

    Hey mate,

You don't have to have a MS account to install an Insider build, but you are required to have a MS account to get Insider builds via Windows Update.

Well, that's kind of what I meant, you do have to have the account to be an ongoing active Dev Insider, unless you want to clean install a new one each time thru an ISO from UUPDump.

    Thanks.

    No.

I have several Dev Channel virtual machines in various languages not using any MS account, not joined Insider program. I simply in-place upgrade them from UUP Dump ISO.

Ok................ clean, in-place. Point is it's not a a normal common practice for Insiders to do it that way. Yes, I know, in times where the WU just will not work for some people under some circumstance, that is what they do.

My question to Shawn was not intended to start an OT diversion. If that is what is going to happen, I will delete all of my posts and ask Shawn to clean up the rest.

It is completely unclear what will happen to the Insider program after the June 24th announcement. I would say nothing is OT for the next week and a half since we have never been this much in the dark.

    Hi there
I think if you download from UUPDUMP you aren't required to do a clean install if the version you are running is "Upgradeable" to the UUPDUMP version downloaded.

Just mount the iso and run the install.exe if you want to upgrade your current version --it will soon tell you if it's "Not upgradeable".

    Cheers
