    Hi there
I think if you download from UUPDUMP you aren't required to do a clean install if the version you are running is "Upgradeable" to the UUPDUMP version downloaded.

Just mount the iso and run the install.exe if you want to upgrade your current version --it will soon tell you if it's "Not upgradeable".

    Cheers

Of course not Jim, why would even think I would believe otherwise? This whole thing was beat to death and back last evening. I do not want to discuss it any further and will ask @Brink for a clean up of all this. Please.

It seems it has been cleaned up already, so I suggest we just move on.

So... TLDR 3 pipeline tests so far, nothing "new" right?

Nothing worth writing home about, as saying goes. I don't think it will live much longer.

Hey guys related i am trying to DISM the CUs into a base WIM of 21390.1. This is to test deployment and manual template configuration.

I cannot DISM the CUs. Not any of the three. They all give the same error. I cannot dism them to a mounted WIM, i cannot dism them in WinPE to a offline drive, i cannot dism them in the running OS. The only time the CU successfully installs is using WindowsUpdate.

I will dig the error up and update this post, just wanted to ask.

    Anyone seeing this?

What kind of error do you get? Can you share your DISM log?

Hi, and welcome to Tenforums. This is a News thread on Insider. I would suggest you start your own thread to get help, and not have it buried inside of news postings. I will ask an Admin to move your post to a more appropriate area. @Brink

Are any of you getting Error 2505's in the System log? These were last discussed, perhaps, with 21301 back in February, and several of you mentioned seeing them then, sometimes in connection with network disconnects.

In no case was the content of the error accurate: duplicate machine names.

I still get these, and in the case of one network suspect them being a reflection of serious network disruption upon booting the system (possible broadcast storm, I'm not sure).

    It seems like a bug.

Yes, I also am still getting those 2505's.
Also, if I have File Explorer open to a NAS folder, I get a message on screen when comp wakes from sleep to the effect that it couldn't connect, name already used. Probably tied to the 2505 msge.
