News / sports feed also working - although UK english -- since I installed the UK english version of Windows and there's no local newsfeed available I assume Windows selects the default installation language unless you change it to other available options. I'm glad it's on a button and not a persistent display.

this brought News and Interests to my Pc in Finland. seems to be in Finnish even though my language setting is US english.
After updating to 1023 I also got news and interests but there must be a bug because I cannot access the hidden apps in the tray.
Installed this update, and now Edge is missing the History and Download buttons on the Toolbar, and the Favorites Menu no longer has a scrollbar, but shows the complete list. Using the latest release version of Edge. Yesterday the buttons where on the toolbar.
OK, then: both PCs were waiting for me to hit restart after concluding the initial update phase on their own. X380 Yoga is done; Surface Pro 3 is still working on the post-GUI updates. Sitting at 83% complete right now. It's all good!

I've never had problems installing Windows updates but this one will not install from Build 19043.985. It downloads, prompts me to restart, installs 1% then reboots my PC where it hangs for 15-20 minutes (that was as long as I waited as there was no drive light activity) between the BIOS logo screen and the Windows login screen. Tried it twice but ended up having to press the reset button on my case which then allows Windows to (thankfully!) boot as normal, reporting that the update failed and had to be rolled back.
The error code I get is 0xe0000100.
I've paused the update for 7 days but I fear that this will keep happening as I have no idea why it is not installing, thanks to the typically unhelpful Microsoft error codes. Never had this happen before. I ran sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth and both report no issues. Very strange.
Hopefully this isn't yet another problematic update from Microsoft...
Ran the cab for this, seem to go fairly quick & painless...i did notice a rev2 designation on it tho.
I am not an Insider. Is it a norm established by MS that at one point in the future this Build will be released as Beta or RP to non-insiders?. It has been done in the past.
