That can be fixed by using DISM's RestoreHealth option, then running SFC again.

Use DISM to Repair Windows 10 Image
I had to extract esd to 'install wim' following instructions at How to Extract Install.ESD to Install.WIM (Windows 10/8) - wintips.org - Windows Tips & How-tos FINALLY the repair was successful

I have been fiddlingwith these DISM paths for too long and install.esd just doesn't work in this machine. Copying it and extracting to C:\ resulted in a minimal time for repair to take place. This puts an extra step after downloading an ISO from the Microsoft site for the purpose of having an ISO around for future repairs.
Source not found is solved using an install.wim
FIX DISM Source Files Could not be Found Windows 10/8 - wintips.org - Windows Tips & How-tosThese corruptions after an update are a PITA. I'm sure ordinary citizens - users not nerds- are not pleased to use these command prompt routines.
I would not have persisted other than your words that the restore health would fix it. AND it did with a slight adjustment.
Now I have a clear SFC and a MR image is the next step.

Not yet seen anything different from 20H2, maybe the system response is a bit faster...

Guys, am I correct in thinking this update (KB5000736), will be auto installed on the nest Update Tuesday?

It's sitting there waiting for me, I simply haven't applied it yet.

Doubt that. If it were one of those Previews, then yes, it most likely would be on next PT. But.... this is a Feature Update .... 20H2>21H1. 19042.xxx > 19043.xxx. It will remain optional for a long time.

I don't have all the time-line details and life lines in front of me. They will come.

    Thank you, TC. Makes sense.

I'm going to roll the dice, and get it now.

    Much appreciated, buddy.

All systems seem faster after a reboot, it's rarely because of the update.

Not offered on any of my PCs via Windows Update. I just updated the oldest laptop using the enablement pacakage without problems.
