Same build, but not the same stuff in the ISO.
    Hi there

I would guess that the one from RP has the updates applied separately (like UUP does, making a bigger ISO) and the MCT version has the updates already integrated in the install.wim file.

Actually the MCT makes the more compressed install.esd which is smaller than an install.wim from those other sources.

The Insider one is probably stuffed full of telemetry too.

Cool, thanks. So this is the same build as the RP ISO. It's just more optimised as it's at least 1GB smaller.
MCT uses .ESD format not .WIM. .ESD is compressed so will be smaller.

Are we taking about the two .985 builds -- the Insider and the Released?

Because I have both builds installed, on different PCs, and the Insider build has a LOT of stuff the production build does not. I used the enablement package to turn my production build from 19042 to 19043 and noticed NO new features of any kind.
Are you saying these new features would be included in a 19043.985 ISO built using UUPDUMP? Because if that is the case, I will build one and update my production system.

Post just a couple of the features that seem to be missing. I've got every flavor there is and I'll be happy to look.

That would be problematic now, as I have updated my Insider version to 1023. But I will have a look at it anyway.

UPDATE: OK, I had a look at the Beta, and now that you mention it, I really don't see hardly any differences. Evidently, all those Feature Packs did not really add much to the Beta, after all. I did notice that the Settings window is different -- as it has icons along the top, and there is the News & Weather stuff on the bottom-right of the Task Bar.

So yeah, I would have to agree they are essentially the same.
