The build number is different on the Desktop and on the WinVer.
I've posted everything I know about your question, what you did, and how you got the info that you did. I do not know any more. Maybe someone else does.

I just checked WU and there is nothing new for me. I have 20H2 19042.985 and there is nothing. I went to MajorGeeks and downloaded Media Creation Tool for 21H1 and got the .iso. Has anyone had any issues with using this so far? I can toast my install without any problems and I don't need MS helping me

First, you must be on 19041.985 or 19042.985. Second, it is being rolled out, meaning not everyone will see it offered right away, could take several weeks. You always have the option of trying the Enablement Package update.

    Thanks, f14tomcat.
    I updated to 19042.985 already.
MS might not roll out to Taiwan right now.
I will wait 21h1 update for several weeks.

21H1 isn't appearing for my older 5960-X cpu. I am going to try the enablement package.

You would need Internet access to get the ISO. If someone you know has Internet access, it would be much quicker to ask them for a few minutes to download the Enablement package and put it on a Thumb Drive you could take back to your machine and run. The enablement package is only 166kb, where the ISO is about 4GB. Big difference.

I have access to Internet from another PC. That's fine. I asked how to install 21H1 on PC without Internet... without complete reinstall. I want to keep all installed software as is.
