Check DirectX 11 performance if WoW is using it. I have (for some time) huge drop in graphic scores due to over 50% in Dx 11 lousy performance.
I stated I do not play WOW above (was a example as badly hit), the KB's ending in 37 and 30 from April are to blame, and the KIR Fix does not work for many and I do not even have those Reg entries so will not add them manually.

Even though my games effected (not all them) still have high FPs they feel stuttery/laggy after this.

Do you have the little "down arrow"?

    Attachment 332878

I just click on that and voila! BTW, my task bar is on top.
Hi Wynona thank you for your reply,

No nothing like that I have all systray icons set to show, what happens is that the icons will appear at random say I open an explorer window they appear for a short time and then disappear they just don't work consistently

edit ... I have rolled back to 21376 and everything is working again

The download and install was very fast. I got distracted so I wasn't at my desktop when the restart came up. The total time including me not hitting restart when it came up was 40 minutes. So far I haven't noticed any problems.

I'm still baffled by how bad these last two builds have been--for me. My hardware is not that unusual at all... It's fairly run-of-the-mill straight ATX--off-the shelf retail components that all run splendidly in 21370, for instance. Rather than repeat myself, the following is what I left at the Hub today:

"21376 I could never install no matter what I did, and always only ever got a black screen. Could boot into safe mode--so the problem has to do with drivers--or the build's handling of my drivers.

21382 has occupied my entire Saturday in troubleshooting to coax it to run with the stability and ease of 21370, for instance, but no dice. I regressed a bios version and about 4 GPU driver versions and finally managed to get it to boot to desktop--but the build was so unstable that merely making a change to a driver that required a system reboot would result in booting to a black screen from which there was no recovery. No exceptions. I ended up with nine (9) restore points trying to get something to work with stability. Nothing doing in 6 hours.

So, I'm back to 21370, which runs wonderfully with all of my hardware and software, and the most recent bios versions and the most recent driver versions for all of my devices. My hardware is fairly commonplace these days--which makes it all more strange!"

--Yes, I haven't run into builds like this since the 2015/2016 time frame! Macrium Reflect is such a blessing...

"And then he noticed that he actually did repeat himself!"...
