No problem installing this update on my production machine. So far, I cannot complain. No issue either with outlook which is working fine. Maybe because I have a subscription with Microsoft 365.

Only Microsoft knows for sure. But it's been doing that for like the last 6 months, on every monthly update.
I had Task Manager open, nothing was happening for 15 minutes, CPU, Memory, Disks and GPU were on a level less than my normal idle.

All I know, is that the progress bar stops and pauses at approx. 20% and 74%.

Progress bar was always erratic. I love it when it stays on 100% but still furiously downloading and writing to disk for many minutes.

Well, occasionally, I fool a bit discuss things with that beautiful tart before she comes out. . . .

    I suppose that could be a causal factor. . . . .

Downloaded and installed 19042.985 just now. Everything running fine and smooth here. I even got the News/Interests widget too!
Me too! Was a total surprise getting the News and Interests - I thought that would be a only with 21H1.

Every single machine had the "OUTLOOK" issue after this update yesterday. This was not an OUTLOOK issue as such as I had two! Outlook versions exhibiting the same problem after Windows Update of BLANK, sometime one lined emails.
It is miraculously resolved today however, and the more *shocking* as to what is ongoing in the background on all of these machines we have no control over but Microsoft!
