You may need to reboot again. Mine was left at 3, where I had set it. Like Andre's was left at 2. If you never reset it to non-zero, it may have kept it.

Anyone else notice that on all computers MS defender updates gave error message and failed to install? Haven’t noticed this before. Maybe my pipelines aren’t clean and clear!

Actually, this happened to me in the last three or four days. Not Windows build related. Go to Windows defender settings page and update from there. One update was problematic.

Only thing I know is that all day yesterday switching from official build to Dev and back had the boot menu screen. Today, after running sfc, to see if it removed the 'end of service icon' on the taskbar, and rebooting, it booted directly to the Dev OS. Checking msconfig showed the timeout at zero.

Thanks. Hadn’t noticed on other builds so I thought it was related to this build. Thanks for info and will go to settings page of defender.

My timeout for multiboot system was left at 30 as I prefer it!

56 minutes to the desktop and all seems ok up to now.

Odd one. Well maybe they didn't quite fix it like they think. Each case, me , Andre, others, it was right where we left it. How yours got set to zero seems to be the mystery.

    Just my luck.....

    Attachment 331581

Edit, a simple reboot fixes it.

Edit again, it's back after further reboots so just hidden it
Yes, I have that on two computers, also.
