Teams

• Spotlight multiple users at the same time in a meeting: Organizers and presenters can now spotlight multiple participants simultaneously during meetings. The meeting stage will show these spotlighted participants, with their videos or avatars, to everyone in the meeting.
• Present from PowerPoint to Teams: Present your slides directly from the PowerPoint app to a Teams meeting via PowerPoint Live.
• New manage tag experience and other enhancements: Tags in Teams let users quickly reach a group of people without having to @mention or type out everyone.The manage tags experience is now a Tab. Tags also now have a description field so that you can add more details to a tag. The new Tags Tab will be the landing page for tag notifications and search for tags, which is also coming soon.
• Intelligent Speakers: Intelligent speakers are intelligent peripherals for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows. They will bring speaker attributed transcription for participants in the meeting room, enabling attendees to spend less time note-taking and easily follow along who said what in the room.
• Changing default to native notification from teams purple for new users: Native Notifications provide a host of benefits like support for action center, accessibility, support for focus assist mode e.t.c.Currently the default notification style for a new user in Microsoft teams is Teams Purple. With this change the default for new user will change to Native Notification.

Excel

• We fixed an issue that caused Excel to close unexpectedly when using 32 bit Office on 64 bit Windows.
• We fixed an issue that caused Excel to close unexpectedly when moving through comments in the Comments pane.
• Fixed an issue where some automation add-ins for Excel unable to load.
• We fixed an issue that caused Narrator to incorrectly read the properties of two buttons on the Header/Footer tab in the Page Setup dialog box.
• We fixed an issue that caused some workbooks linked in other Office applications to close without saving changes when running Update Link.
• Fixed an issue where the Analysis ToolPak add-in did not work for some users.
• We fixed an issue where some files would occasionally fail to open in Protected View
• We fixed an issue that caused date formatting to be displayed incorrectly in some languages when using add-ins.

• We made a change to enable the Name Manager to open on books with a large number of hidden names.
• We fixed an issue to support backward compatibility with older versions of Excel. The issue may cause a file that is saved in a more recent version of Excel failed to load properly in older versions of Excel due to functions such as IFERROR and XLOOKUP added to Excel since Office 2007.
• We fixed an issue which could cause Excel to close unexpectedly when using Paste Special with formats in certain situations.

Outlook

• We fixed an issue that caused Outlook to override the Focused Inbox preferences configured in OWA.
• We fixed an issue that caused users of roaming settings to experience hangs .
• We fixed an issue that caused name resolution disabled when sending on behalf of another user and resolving against an address book that is not the Global Address List.
• We fixed an issue that caused some users of the calendar sharing improvements feature to experience issues with interacting with their calendar in the navigation pane.
• We fixed an issue where using High Contrast mode for extended periods of time would caused Outlook to close unexpectedly.
• We fixed an issue where hyperlinks including digits would be disable when composing a message in Outlook in a right-to-left language.

PowerPoint

• Fixes an issue related to linked pictures.

Project

• We fixed an issue where changes done through Planning Wizards weren't always captured by change events.
• We fixed an issue where users were unable to remove projects from the resource pool.

Visio

• We fixed an issue which caused Visio closed unexpectedly with recent build.

Word

• We fixed an issue where text formatting remains after removing hyperlinks.
• We fixed a issue where placeholder text was clipped in comments when using right-to-left languages.
• We fixed an issue where comments are not displayed after filtering by people.
• We fixed an issue where Word was unable to perform a Mail Merge with an Access database.
• We fixed an issue that caused the ability to collapse margins in a document containing multiple columns to be available.
• We fixed an issue where some characters are not displayed correctly in table cells when there are comments in the document.
• We fixed an issue where the file format changes occurred when saving documents with the AIP add-in enabled.
• We fixed an issue where Word would become unresponsive when editing fields.
• We fixed an issue where the sensitivity label disappears from a file in Word after uploading the file to SharePoint Online.
• We fixed an issue where users would not be prompted to save documents when using a command (rather than the CTRL+S keyboard shortcut).
• Fixes an issue that may caused Word unexpectedly closed when shutting down due to the user logging off or restarting their computer.
• We fixed an issue where text formatting remains after removing hyperlinks.

Office Suite

• We fixed an issue that caused the Dictation button to be misaligned when adding comments to a document.
• Fixed an issue when parsing a string for emoji processing that casued application closed unexpectedly when reading outside of the bounds of an array
• We fixed an issue where some Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) did not render correctly.
