Updated to 19042.964 this morning without any problems. 'News and Interests' not showing in taskbar for me either. Other than that, everything running smooth so far!

I installed and uninstalled and it is back asking me to install, how do I block this update - wushowhide.cab does not see it?

Just noticed this CU. Downloaded and installed without any problems so far.
Did run scannow, and windows found and repaired things.

Thx for the referenced link, I really like it. It gives me a more detailed and understandable view of what this new feature is all about.

I am (unashamedly) happy to report that there must be a bug with "News & Interests" icon in taskbar.
It appears as an option in the context menu of the main screen taskbar; but does not appear when selected.
That is in a laptop with one external monitor, which is set as main.

In another standalone laptop, works ok.

On my production machine (19042.64) for the first time "News and Interests" show the icon in full glory. The only thing is that the upward arrow to "show hidden icons", left side to the notification area, is gone. I don't know yet how to get it back. Anyone else with the same issue?

You might not have hidden icons. Drag an icon upwards to check if the hidden area shows.

I am in the middle of a backup with MR for now on the affected machine. I will try later on to see what I can do. I already have a few things in mind.
