Managed to break Defender. Downloaded update for Intel Memory and Storage Tool and wanted to allow permission for it.

All looks fine here apart from the CU fail. Got News and Interests which I will try to ignore or ditch and Eco works as well. Can't see a need for Eco on my system but guess intention is good. Every company has to have an eco feature!

Got the .1000 on both IP Dev computers but the .NET update is still not working on the AMD machine.

Cumulative Update locked screen showing M$ motif with no movement.
Turned off computer, restarted and Updates installed inside a minute.
NET still faulty.

I don't like the new restart with no progress indicator.
