I have my media on a USB drive and I will try and boot from it if safe mode doesn’t work.
That Easeus PE option on Boot Manager is gone?

I'm surprised people don't take backup images before installing / applying these updates. Things like Macrium Free (or any other equivalent program) are so easy to use and only take probably around 15 mins to run these days --saves all sorts of hassle and agro afterwards if you want to revert back to a previous version. All these free 3rd party backup solutions can run stand alone from bootable media too.

    Cheers

No. The option to boot from the USB is the EaseUS option.

I’m trying safe mode right now. It just freezes up when I skip the disk check I hope it won’t this time. Then I will just restore.

You would be greatly surprised to find out that there are lots of people out there who don't even use a backup software. Either, they don't care or don't know. Some only copy their data files to an external USB drive.
