I know. I’m probably just going to be sitting here watching it restore me to the last build and it will GSOD me. Then I’ll just restore.

Excellent! I was hoping one of those would try to come up, give up, and rollback. Strong suggestion, Noah. After you've rolled back and all looks ok, do another backup that contains all your changes and work before you try again.

I will definitely create a backup just in case. Since my GSOD are happening because of drivers does anyone know a script or a command that will remove extra drivers that the OS doesn't need so I can attempt to try and get to the new build successfully?

I just got another GDOD mid restore. The error is Kernel Security Check Failure.

It's development. Alpha if you prefer. It's not supposed to be potty trained yet.
True - but at least the BASE functionality should work !!!!!
I don't normally have problems with these sorts of builds that give a few errors - but this one definitely IMO was step too far.

No problem though - just restored previous build and will wait until the next update comes out. I don't think I'm the only one who has found this build less than satisfactory even allowing for the fact it's development software !!!.

I don't expect it to function as a "Production" quality machine -- but that would be a mega bonus if it did. !!!

    Cheers

    One opinion.

Think I would clean install what ever insider build you want to be on, install your backup tool, apps and data. Then take a backup and move forward with Insider program.

    Like I said, one opinion.

You have one option left before you restore. May as well go for it.

That option disappeared after I did the restore. I’m trying safe mode now.

Do you have a rescue media on a USB stick. Time to use it; try to boot in BIOS settings and change the Boot order for the USB stick on which you have EaseUS ToDo rescue media so that you can restore. Take a deep breath and try to calm down and be careful. I have been there...

I have my media on a USB drive and I will try and boot from it if safe mode doesn’t work.
