Follow-up on post #75: After clicking on "Download" from Pending Download, nothing noticeable happened. Ran up to 1% and was over with no error message. Looks to me some quirk of some sort.![]()
Hi folks.
This edition for me unuseable. (I did a Clean install on a physical PC -- i.e not a Virtual Machine).
I can live without Net3.5 although it's necessary for a load of people I know. Can't install in any case.
Alternate (Language packs) Language download just sticks forever at around 12 % and won't install.
Edge just insists on using a Microsoft account name so it fails if you want to download anything from a "Local account" with a different user ID.
So many other defects --this is the quickest build I've ever "Chucked straight into the Bin".
I accept the fact that these are Beta builds and defects are to be expected but I'm using modestly standard hardware, am not a gamer, and am running just basically bog standard "Officy" type stuff -- e.g Ofiice, email, Internet browser etc.
Who passes the QC before they let this stuff out of the door these days.
Cheers

Hello #WindowsInsiders we added something we missed in Build 21364 from yesterday: there is now a setting for turning "Aero Shake" on or off (it's off by default now). (The random ? in the settings text is a bug.) ^BLB

Hi there @Brink
You are doing sterling service with this build but I think this one is still a mega fail. I admire your tenacity on some of this stuff. !!!
Must be hard pitching a product that still has a lot of defects in it.
Good for keeping going though -- I suspect a new update will arrive quite quickly. !!
I Always appreciate your update info though.
Cheers

Amazing absolutely Amazing.....some Gurus always having insurmountable problems.....while lesser mortals like myself find it an absolute doddle.![]()
Hello everyone, today when attempting to upgrade to this build with Windows update I get a GSOD right after it restarts for the first time. It brought me to a Windows Boot Manager screen that I have never used before and if anyone could help me select the correct option that will let me rollback your the last build I would greatly appreciate it. I’m confused as there is two Windows 10 options and a Windows setup option. Can anyone help me please?
I almost forgot to say I do have a backup before I upgraded to this build but I made many changes to windows that I wouldn’t want to have to repeat again as it took hours to do.
Edit: I can’t seem to figure out how to upload attachments from my phone.
From,
Noah
