Force display instantly, go into settings and set the taskbar on top if at bottom or inversely.

Thank you for the tip. First, made sure Cortana was enabled and un-blocked via security software. Then changed the taskbar position from top to bottom and restarted. Unfortunately, no News and Interests.

I read that Microsoft is rolling this out in waves, and due to my past serious issues with the Store, maybe I lost my place in line. Pretty sure I'll get it eventually.

microsoft is crazy, if they think 21h1 is close to being ready for may release. seeing that they had to issue fixes for last weeks issues.

even window update is buggy as it tells me to restart the system to finish installing updates, when its only at 20% installing

and how they saying Build 19043.928,KB5001330 is the final build for the May 2021, when microsoft had to roll back from this update to fix problems with it

Got it, it's all good: Note Version 20H2.

As a matter of fact I deleted Cortana long ago. I have no microphone and do not wish to have that application on my computer. I just used 'Revo Uninstaller' and took out the parts in the Registry as well.
