I think according to previous posts "News and Interests" equate to "Cortana". By disabling the latter, News and Interest won't show anymore unless MS changes your settings with some future FU or even CU.
I never disabled Cortana. I had News and Interest in the beginning then I lost it. This build brought it back after I did a restart. Now it's gone again. No big deal though. If MS doesn't want me to have it, They can stick it.

Well said, but it has been like that from the beginning "Now you see it, Now you don't" kinda A/B testing thingy. In my case, I have never seen it either because I have Cortana disabled or because I am not an official Insider or both. All my Insider Builds come from UUPDump.net and installed in a VM (Hyper-V).

On another note, I don't know if Rescue environment will help in his case. Noah W's problem is that he cannot do a backup with MR.
That's what I was saying. The rescue environment doesn't use VSS.

I just got home and when I checked on the PC, EaseUS showed the backup successfully finished up in only one hour time and I can browse through the files of the backup just fine. Thank you to all that have helped me to solve this problem.

I could understand losing it after a build update. It's like MS said, You have been bad and we are going to take News and Interest back.
