Are people now getting Edge's icon looking like this in Task Manager after the update?

But not to be rehoused in Accessories.
What puzzles me is that SFC /ScanNow reports in CBS.log that it is supposed to be in Accessories (just 'Accessories', not 'Windows Accessories').

    Code:
[SR] Could not reproject corrupted file \??\C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\\Snipping Tool.lnk; source file in store is also corrupted

Ah, I didn't know that. (I was just reading what Microsoft said should happen.)

though recently some people might be experiencing DNS related issues after installing the KB5001330 update as reported in this Bleepingcomputer forum topic.

But I've manually installed the KB5001330 update onto a Win10 v2004 based Toshiba laptop and things are working fine with no serious problems found
Lovely Thanks for keeping me/us informed. So far, so good on one PC here.

Gets stuck at both 20% and 73% for long times and there is huge CPU usage from Windows Defender during these periods.

Also one of the first CU updates in a long time that doesn't need to download and install again after a few reboots.

Also force installs Microsoft Edge if you uninstalled it or didn't have it. In my case I had Edge uninstalled and this update forced it on me again.

From what you are mentioning Bree, it seems that 21h1 has snippets of 21H2 that aren't polished. Is 21h1 in official release or is it riding along like 20H1 & 20H2.

Were gonna have 19041, 19042, 19043 riding along each other before long. Can it get more confusing?

    Well:

    Specifically:

    Code:
    2021-04-14 14:32:11, Info CSI 000004ae [SR] Repairing file \??\C:\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\\OneDrive.lnk from store
It's been like that since yesteryear as far as I can tell despite numerous repairs...
SFC found corruption here too after this update, but there's no mention of anything Onedrive related in CBS.log. It was uninstalled a long time ago, but the enablement pack to 20H2 put a shortcut (that lead nowhere) in start menu for it regardless!
