SFC - Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

No, see the screenshot above.

The only errors found are specifically for the Start menu's links for the Snipping Tool.

The problem appears to be that for 21H1 the Snipping Tool link is apparently to be moved from 'Windows Accessories' to a new Start menu folder just named 'Accessories'. It seems this CU has jumped the gun and partially implemented the change.

That fails too.

So this problem only seems to be on 21H1 builds? BTW' nice detective work.

Did you try a dism to sources folder of your cd?

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:X:\Win_10_Zardoc\sources:1 /limitaccess

I can't run sfc scannow because I modify system files so I'm bound to get errors found.

So if I understand right, bug is related to code not complete on 21H1 and creating link errors. No system errors ?

Installing, stalled a bit at 21%, but other than that, all went well.

Update ~ Something I failed to state yesterday, in the post above.

SFC found no errors, and Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore found no errors, with no cleanup recommended.

I believe it's a permission issue, even as an administrator you don't have sufficient permission to enumerate the contents of the EFI partition. I don't recall seeing anything other than '100% free' from the original 1507/10240 release onwards. Here it is in 1803...

So..... I can't speak to WHY yours show 100% free. I have nothing to compare to.

Someone WITH an EFI system partition will have to respond.

My EFI System partition shows 100% free space in Disk Management too

21H1 here, the folder is still called Windows Accessories and Snipping Tool is in it. There is no Accessories folder on my Start menu
