I re-apply all my settings in OFF, since Windows and apps like to change those, like firewall rules, startup, etc.
Thanks for the reference. Very informative. I could see that they (MS) issue a .ISO with some builds on an irregular basis (once in a blue moon) —That is probably why I have never seen one or I am not paying enough attention.
The question remains why some of those builds are accompanied by a .ISO and others are not. I wish I could understand the rationale behind this equation.
News feed is working properly here without Edge(s) and the news app (removed in the previous build). It was there after the upgrade made offline. It is the first time I see it and for a better experience, I'm forced to use it. Enjoying playing with not so many parameters, limited setup. I don't find any bugs.
I don't have any possibility to turn it off other than powershell (0 default, 1 no temperature, 2 off). On top of that, this build is bug free, not to say all good.
The feed needs some extra additions, such as a faster tweaking method inside the app, a switch to choose how it opens > 1xperhour. A switch changing the feed(s) to the selected city, a pause switch, a clearer indication of the process running in task manager.
The frequency at which the feed opens is a mystery? Turning Ethernet off does not set the feed off anymore, reopens automatically when the Internet is back.
All the best,
I managed to get Paint via Edit back on the right-click menu by just setting it as the default app for the common image types. It's not perfect, but it works for now. According to Brandon LeBlanc on Twitter, they're getting a lot of feedback about this, so we may see some further changes soon.
