    Damn thought they might have read the feedback on the total abortion they did with the closed folders view, all my TV shows etc are blank now.

    Explorer now looks like StarDock Object Desktop we used to try make XP look more modern, today that is not a good look.

    Hi folks
    I HATE the Ms Store (and all the other OSes e.g Apple / Android etc) that use the concept of "a Store". What's wrong with a standard update of an app without having to use the hideous store.

    @jh30uk

    XP wth the Luna Black theme IMO still looks more modern than current W10 !!!!!!

    Here's XP VM desktop I'm using.

    Any way to see my Music albums and TV show covers (I am not manually editing each folder) they all have a folder.jpg in them and the albums are also embedded.

    @jimbo, I liked the XP Royale look and I also liked Vista dark look far better than Win10 half backed grey (dark) look.

    Starting up Windows is much faster this time. Also, Quick Access is back to normal state for me.

    Hi there
    Browse the Music folder with any "Photographic" type of application e.g Photoshop Bridge, irfvanview or whatever -- those apps should pick up and display all the jpg's (and other image formats e.g png's etc).

    @magilla

    I agree - this build doesn't seem to be as slow or as giving the feel it's running in an ocean of molasses this time.

    Cheers

    Control panel is fading away. .Net update again with no reboot.

    I want to see my albums in Explorer as before with a nice cover of each in view I mean you would not easily look though your CD collection if they all had blank covers, WTF are these new generation MS hiring smoking?

    Done and it took 40 minutes to complete but it doesn't matter much as the "Notification Area" still bad.

    So those artefacts on taskbar at start button and notification area are not due to me running the watermark remover tool (Which I then undid but still a mess)?
