    First attempt just hung @ 89% install for 45 minutes. Opened task manager to check for activity and download started again at 0%, now d/l @ 92% after 1 hour. Bummer.

    Did you see Shawn's post of the MS ISO available?

    I'm sure it works fine. Didn't know if Marty saw Shawn's post several pages back, and it hadn't been mentioned again.

    I used Shawn's link to download the ISO. The total time to upgrade including the download was 49 minutes.

    Snipping Tool Back to Work

    Disconnecting Internet kills news, it won't connect unless we click reload. The Weather icon comes back and disturbs desktop activity.

    Even if this one is your best attempt(s), our relation with News has nothing to do with Windows.

    For snipping_tool, here's the cmd line in PS ISE admin to get it back:

    Code:
    Get-AppXPackage *Microsoft.ScreenSketch* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
