Never liked or used Quick access so no loss for me.

Preparing Windows taking 30 secs is starting to get annoying, it takes longer to load the desktop than it takes to start PC. I got accustomed to pressing a button and working ASAP, now I have to wait, like in the old days.

This obsession with change for change's sake hampers user recognition of changed visual features which will lead to mistakes being made by users. There is far more than enough already to know about Windows 10 without having to relearn unnecessarily because of trivial aesthetic changes forced upon us. Windows is a tool, not a lifestyle.

Installing new builds always deletes the existing Notepad shortcut, but the Accessories folder no longer includes it. It's simple enough to create a new shortcut, but that shouldn't have to be done every time a new build is installed.
Notepad is listed under N on the Start Menu.

I'm not happy with this build. I have a lot of mouse lag on wireless and Bluetooth. I haven't tried a wired mouse yet. Another problem is updating store apps. I have 6 apps stuck on pending.

First time I had to roll back also. Search window would open then close, Event viewer also broken. Good thing I do backup before I upgrade

Search is not working correctly for me too. I tried searching for a program I have installed and on the first try search crashed. The second try I only got the option to search for the program with no option to run it. When I clicked to do a search the search app closed and the program started.

As a precaution, I have put my "insider update" mask on . See what the next one looks like.

Thanks. I hadn't noticed that since I don't use the Windows Start Menu, but the Open-Shell version. Hopefully a copy of the shortcut from Start Menu will stay put on my Open-Shell menu with new builds.

For the last month or two it seems like the Dev ring has been experiencing "fix it til it's broke" syndrome.

I am not impressed with their recent releases, and have been sticking to the Beta ring to do my playing.
For the last couple of months, these releases have been lucky to last even a few hours on my machine.

I keep hoping they will get it straightened out at some point. But so far that has not been the case.

    peace
