I will remember that for next time. One has to admit that there are some issues with this update. I don't remember ever seen a situation like this weird one during all my time using the Windows OS

I was thinking about that earlier. I'm wondering if it might have worked better if we didn't already have .868
Like if we just went from .867 to .870
Or even from .844 to .870

It almost seems like .867 .868 and .870 were really all the same update. Each one being a little more correct than the one before.
Which may be why, that by the time we got to .870 ...Windows Update couldn't tell what was going on any more.

Go to the taskbar search box and type: winver
...and tell us exactly what version of Windows you are on.

Like for me... I'm on version 19043.870

<---- you can see my version, here. If you type your version in your system specs, it will show over there.

Manual download & install worked for me. Thanks Brink, for making the manual install option available for this update.

Would have to be part of Redmond's inner circle to know exactly what's going on. That is why I backup every day with MR to be on the safe side. Never know when MS is going to be completely off track.

That I can't say for sure. If you go back and read through the posts in this topic, you'll see that just about everyone got errors using Windows Update for this update.
Most of the time, Windows Update works. But sometimes... it just gets... confused.

We all had to download the update manually, and install it that way.

@Brink always posts about all the updates, and gives us ways to download them manually.

If you need the fix for the graphics printing glitch, download it from the link given on the first page. You will get a .msu file that you simply double-click on, and it goes from there.

If you don't need the fix, don't worry about it at all, and wait until it shows up in WU. Most importantly, relax and stop worrying about it.
