Some of us who are not Insiders still like to have a look at what's to come, so links to cab files like those that @Zardoc posted are very welcome. I usually set a VM going a month or so before an expected release...

Update: ISO created, it's over 6GB in size? Is this right?

You are referring to build 19043.906 and not 22343.1000? I have no performance loss with 19043.906 but 23434.1000 is horrible, it took 3 minutes to boot.

I just cheated and used macrium reflect to image back to 19042.870 Publice Release.
Then I rejoined the Insider Beta Ring and let it update from Windows Updates.

I use the same system and drives to test the different builds while keeping MR images of them.
So luckily I had an up to date current image with the public release of 19042 to go back to.

All ship shape now and running fine. Not experiencing any performance issues like Jimbo

I tend to agree with Josey here. This build has all the makings of a Swiss cheese sandwich or a homemade mac and cheese (throw everything in the same pot) POTLUCK but the end result is that the build is solid. I just built a new Z590 system and it's really smooth after bios update. Still a few bugs but we all know that most new boards are up to par after about 6 months of drivers and bios updates.

2.5 network and WiFi 6 (but not 6 here ) is solid. Sees my router as a NAS and the only issue that I have is transfer by NAS is much slower than copy paste of files between the Workgroup.

I'm using an image built Windows Ent with junk removed. Boot is about 18 seconds to desktop and to me that's blazing fast.

So, I really don't get what exactly is your issue. Maybe outdated hardware or driver incompatibility?

I have more issues here with Cloudflare than Windows.

Took roughly 30 minutes to make the ISO, but 6GB later I had a usable in-place and got to 19043.906.

Anybody here who's on the Dev Insider....... I wonder who tested this pipeline?
