Sometimes you just gotta clean out the nvidia dust bunnies that have collected...

    DDU Instructions - Nvidia
    1. Get this program, here: Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) | Wagnardsoft ...get the latest version, and save it to your desktop.
    2. Get the Standard/Game Ready vid card driver here, use the Manual Search: Advanced Driver Search | NVIDIA ...save this to your desktop.
    Unhook the internet completely.
    3. Reboot into Safe Mode and run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) choose the "Highly Recommend Option", and just do what it tells you.
    4. After it's done, reboot to normal mode, then just double click the Nvidia driver to install. If it want's to reboot, let it.
    Rehook the internet.

Very good you suggest that, but I always use DDU when installing NVIDIA drivers. This is the first time, honestly, that I had an issue installing an NVIDIA driver going that route. Something happened in my computer for that to happen. I will try to figure it out. The thing is when the installer (.exe) starts I got a 7-zip data error which I found really weird considering that I don't even have 7-zip installed on my machine. I have been using WinRaR (paid version) for a very long time.

Just an observation..... 7-zip extractor is used by many many software vendors to decompress their product. Doesn't mean you necessarily have 7-zip installed, just a module they license from 7-zip. Hence the possibility of seeing that if something in that process goes boop.

Thx for explaining. Really appreciate it, but the question remains why is it doing it right now since I have updated many drivers from NVIDIA in the past and I have never seen this error before. Lots of question marks ??????...

KB5001567 does not resolve our KB5000802 issues. We continue to see blank spaces with Windows Fax. One day I hope we can discontinue faxing all together...
And there are more issues after the update installation:
    • Still BlueScreens after the update installation.
    • Print Server causes blanc pages.
    • Errors printing graphics.
    • Label printers print empty labels.
    • Issues with Office printing.

The complete story can be found here:

Well this one didn't show up in WU yet.

The CU that caused the printer issue also i needed to a manual check for update.

Do i have to manual check so that WU finds and download this CU also ? I don't use a printer so i don't think it will affect the OS at all.

    @Mikey89,

This update is optional. KB5001567 is a patch aimed at resolving printing issues some may have after the last CU.

If you do not "use a printer", then there is really no urgent need to get this KB.

    ...just my thoughts.

    Good luck, stay safe.

Even if you do use a printer and can printer without BSODs, it's not necessary to install it - we'll pick up the fix in April CU at the latest.

    Ah ok then.

I will just wait until WU picks up whatever CU it finds and when it finds it.

Many thanks guys for your speedy replies.

I've also decided to wait and let the next CU come to me via WU when it want to.
