Finally finished except for .NET again.

Settings - system - power and sleep crashes the settings app. Will reboot to see if that fixes it.
Edit, rebooting not fixing it.



Fixed with SFC.

52 minutes to the desktop, a strange download though. It moved up to 9% then leapt straight to 100% where it sat for a few minutes while it finished downloading then started installing. For me Microsoft never seem to have worked out how to code a reasonably accurate progress bar, used to be the same back in the days of Windows 3.1.

They've been generally slower here for several months at least. Maybe 50% slower than before. It seems to be the pre-reboot phase that's slowed way down.

I had one a few builds ago where the pre-boot was very fast but the boot phase was really slow. Perhaps they are testing different scenarios.

That's interesting (for me of course) because I wasn't think of a new build at all.
