    9 minutes for the WU upgrade install offline disk portion.

    Two remaining bugs from the last build(s):

    (1) Installing this build promptly knocked the RealTek 2.5GB offline, again; fixed it with the troubleshooter--and it lasted about three minutes until it lost the gateway, again.

    --So only a manual driver install through the Device Manager or a RealTek driver "repair driver" install will work to keep the driver installed permanently--with no lost gateways and with no dropping offline--until the next build is installed. Then it's rinse, repeat.

    --back to the Hub to report this again.

    (2) News and Interests still not showing in the taskbar at the top or sides of the desktop screen.

    --back to the Hub to report this one, yet again.

    Realtek is a major problem.

    21332 seems to be the buggiest build for me.

    - Cannot open personalization settings from the context menu on the desktop;
    - Cannot reboot the machine from the start menu, Alt+F4 then selecting "Reboot" works;
    - NVMe driver seems to be broken, event viewer shows "stornvme \Device\RaidPort1 device reset issued", disk health monitoring tools such as Crystal DiskInfo won't run at all or won't run properly, their processes hang on the task manager and can't be terminated, giving a "Access denied" warning, also getting micro-stutters/freezes from time to time (21H1, 19043 works absolutely fine).

    Scuris,

    From the bugs you describe it looks like you updated to 21332 from an older build, I got the same bugs updating directly from 19043.867 to 21332.1000 or to 21327.1000, the only way around it is by updating 1st to 21322.1000 and then to 21327 or 21332.
    Also a clean install of 21332.1000 works fine without those bugs.
    Apparently 21322 has some required prerequisites for updating from older builds including 21286 and any build older than 21322...

    As you can see below, the file sfc is complaining about is opencl.dll. This is a known issue that MS said it is going to be addressed in future builds. Hopefully soon... 😊

    If you really, really want it back try this. Activate or Deactivate News and Interests Button in Taskbar in Windows 10 (winaero.com)
    Mine also disappeared on one laptop
    @Fabler2,

    That procedure at winareo.com was for build 21286, keep in mind that the feature IDs to activate may be different with every build.
    I list the activated feature IDs on every build and they are never the same.

    vivetool addconfig 27371152 2 1 4 0 0 4 (No hovering variant)

    or

    vivetool addconfig 27371152 2 1 6 0 0 4 (Hovering variant)

    This one activates the icon in the taskbar with variant 4 or 6, but there are other configuration IDs that may go with it.
    I'm not a fan of N&I, it is mostly an annoyance when they use the hovering variant.
    Also when you check for updates the feature configurations are reconciled from the MS server to whatever state MS decided for that specific computer. 😒

    Thanks for looking through the log. Appreciated.

    As for not being a fan of News & Interest - that would be an understatement for me.
