    Yep, looks like you're in Legacy Mode. And yeah, Secure Boot won't work there

    Can you post the System Information screen I asked for? Want to see what BIOS mode Windows shows.

    I highlighted in red the items I was looking for.

    Anyway, Windows is showing the OS is n UEFI mode, so disable "Load Option ROMs" in the BIOS, reboot, go back into the BIOS and you should be able to enable secure boot.

    Edit: Do a backup before the above in case something goes wrong!!!

    I'll disable the Legacy Option ROMs .. reboot, and go back in to see if it'll let me enable Secure Boot ...

    Anything else ? just checking

    You nailed it Sygnus. I sort of suspected it was Legacy Option ROMs.
    my policy is to not monkey around with settings in BIOS unless I'm absolutely sure I know what I'm doing. . .

    My apologies to Ken for being a royal PITA. . . I think I might've given him a headache.
