Microsoft offers a temporary workaround for Error when attempting to print to certain printers. You might receive an APC_INDEX_MISMATCH error with a blue screen when attempting to print.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...h2#1570msgdesc
Workaround: To mitigate the issue, follow the instructions in this video. The Command Prompt commands from the video are as follows (you will need to replace KX driver for Universal printing with the name of your printer, as explained in the video):
- rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /Xg /n “KX driver for Universal printing”
- rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /Xs /n "KX driver for Universal printing" attributes +direct

Welcome to TF!. You can try to reset Windows Updates using this tut:
Reset Windows Update in Windows 10
If the above still doesn't fix the issue, You can go for a Repair Install aka In-place upgrade
The latter won't change anything with respect to your data files and Apps. They will be kept as is. Make sure however to make a system image backup first just in case something goes bump in the night. I would also suggest to disconnect your printer when you get back to downloading the update again if the aforementioned tuts happen to fix the issue.
Cheers!
