Exactly, Im currently in the process of building a new PC and am trying to get all my components but everything I want is OUT of STOCK or like you said 3x the price, that aint right man..lol.

nVidia just released new drivers at the same time. A lot of users screaming mad about terrible drivers for the past months that either flicker or just have a low fps rate.

i managed to snag an EVGA 3060 XC Gaming from the NewEgg Shuffle yesterday. It was $399, which honestly felt a little expensive for the performance, but this is going into a new build for my wife who doesn't need a ton of graphics power for the gaming she will do. Since nothing else is available anywhere, I went ahead and bought it. I would have obviously preferred a 3060 TI for the $399 MSRP...but that just isn't happening.
