    I did install the same day driver release and it doesn't fix the issue. I have reported it as BF3 is also affected by this.

    Edit: Turns out that it was the latest version of Afterburner beta that was the culprit. My performance is still down from where it was but at least its not 50%.

    @Brink,

    Would you recommend for or against a non-Insider, non-Beta, but experienced Windows user to use this KB5000736 to enable the 21H1 features hidden in their 19042.985 installation rather than waiting for MS to Officially Release the Feature upgrade?

    Thanks for all your work on the forum!

    Mike

    Hello Mike,

    I wouldn't recommend to enable 21H1 in a non-Insider build. 21H1 should be released by the end of this month, so not long to wait for the official public release.

    No harm in trying, I've done so in one of my VMs.

    But you'll not notice anything new. It's all down to the Windows Feature Experience Pack. The one for 21H1 is only delivered by Windows Update to machines properly enrolled in the Insider program. If your not an Insider then you won't get it, even after installing the enablement package you'll still have the same one as you had in 20H2 - 120.2212.2020.0.

    Meanwhile Insiders are already on the Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3740.0 for Beta and Release Preview Channels
