After trying all these it still loses the network. It always repairs, with the message
Root Cause: The default gateway is not available

It seems to happen often when Microsoft Teams is in use. Maybe today's 21322.1000 will fix something.
Sorry to hear that. If that doesn't bother you too much, you can try to change your login credentials (just in case) and follow the steps in this tutorial:

    21H1

Im not on any Insider build, I installed this as a release version and I dont see anything exciting about this build but I have noticed maybe a smoother experience. I have had no screens of death, windows close as should..before this i had lots of issues, also all windows for me when opened now finally open On TOP of all other windows thank god, and sure I see a few other tweaks as far as aesthetics go but nothing else. hmm...

So where are these new features? I updated to 19043.844 - 21H1 and I don't see them. There is no manage disks in the systems->storage settings and no DNS of HTTPS in the network settings, no advanced view in optimize drives, etc. like there is supposed to be. Am I missing something? Where's the beef?

    What a disappointment.
Those are only present in the Dev Ring builds as of now. Remember, this is still 19xx, (19043), these features started at 20+ (21303 for instance)

Actually it is not meant to bring radical new changes, only minor tweaks. If you are not noticing anything then that's good because then there are no issues. The later builds (just like those that are on the dev ring) will bring some new features but those will come a bit later on.

Not showing up in Windows Update even though I'm in the Insider Beta program.

So where can we get the 21H1 enablement package?

I tried Microsoft Update Catalog and there is nothing there that I can find.
It is showing up now in Windows Update as optional ,try to check again

Bruh, Redmond giant server won't let me download those CAB update files in UUPDump.

    UPDATE: Its up now.

    x64/AMD64 CAB files
    x86 CAB files
    ARM64 CAB files

...I got the x64/AMD64 download (windows10.0-kb5000736-x64.cab), and then the "renaming script".
I ran the "renaming script" which changed the first download into a .cab file.
I right clicked the .cab file and chose: Install.
Rebooted afterwards, and now my winver shows: 19043.844

It should make a difference. These features are slated for the premier of the 21H1 release, which is imminent actually. It is going to be released in the upcoming months (Spring 2021 which we are entering now)

If you're looking for these features, you should join the Insider Dev Ring. But I must warn you, those builds can be unstable. I have been using them for a really long time now, but just like the folks in the insider forums, I know my way around. If - likewise me - you want to do this in a real-world situation, you should have auto-created daily rolling system images scheduled. Then there are the rest of the folks who are playing it very safe with virtual machines. That is a good choice, too.

UPDATE 3/2: 21H1 is now being offered as a recommended update to all Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel. Insiders who previously didn’t choose to install 21H1 will now automatically receive 21H1 in the Beta Channel.

    Hi there

M/s - lets have some noticeable new features like improvements to file explorer -- your default way of displaying files in file explorer is a total dog and you still haven't changed the basic old API of limiting file and path names to a length of around 266 chars max -- even though internally windows supports > 266 chars.

It's no good if the basic api that 99% of 3rd party developers use for browsing windows file directories still doesn't support path / file names longer than 266 chars.

Surely in these dev builds you can do these things -- who cares if a few icons are changed or whatever --99% of users won't see any difference anyway.

Also please get language interface working correctly - between updates often bits of language in the display get totally hosed up !! should be easy to get that working properly.

Even years ago when I messed around a little with programming we used to have a concept of a "Data Dictionary" so things like texts in screen objects could refer to a data dictionary and just pull out the text for the relevant screen object in the desired language without any change in the actual screen element itself--the screen would simply refer to a data dictionary object for a "label" and pull in the text for the desired language -- and this was back in the 1980's --surely coding has come a long way since then !!!.

    Cheers

Since migrating to this build my radeon driver has stopped working properly and even after installing their release today the behavior persists. I tried running time spy and it is stuttering its a$$ off hardly producing any fps as it underclocks my gpu bigtime.

Check if there is a new driver, possibly a beta one that could help on windows update and amd.com, and update to it.

If not, try reverting-reinstalling the latest stable driver. If that doesn't help then you have to rollback to previous win build.

Before you do that, make sure to report the bug both to amd using their tool in the driver gui and to Microsoft using feedback hub
