The notes say it all. I don't call this a feature update. It's more like a polishing. You could of kept calling it 19041 because the differences are so subtle.

Just updated my lone Beta Channel PC: the 2014-vintage Surface Pro 3 handled the whole thing from desktop to desktop in under 5 minutes. Everything seems to be working just fine. Enablement packages sure make "upgrades" trivial and fast, eh? I'm less inclined to get hot and bothered by minimalist upgrades than some, but I do wonder what's in store for 21H2.
Cheers to one and all,

Working here. Make sure you know what you're doing and you have backups.
Select language for Feature update to Windows 10, version 21H1 (19043.844) amd64 - UUP dump
21H1 is just like a minor Service Pack that should be delivered officially in April or May 2021. The big Feature update 21H2 will see the light at the end of this year. Once again, MS is changing the way things used to be done just to make it easier for us users— just being sarcastic!!!![]()
Im on windows 10 pro 2004 insider Dev Channel build 21313.rs.prerelease.210209-1440.
How do I upgrade to version 21H1 without losing all my files and installed programs etc?
Do I have to upgrade in steps? Going from 2004 to 20H2 then to 21H1 or..?
I have NO updates in my windows update settings being offered now or in the past and I have been in the Insider program for at least 3 months now..it justs keeps updating my 2004 version with new builds..Not upgrading me to 20H2 or 21H1. Please let me know the easiest way to do this or if in your Opinion I should just stick with 2004. I really like to be on the Latest version of Windows possible. Ty.
