Hi, I cannot find the right drivers of Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview build 21313.rs_prerlease.210209-1440 for the HP Officejet 6830 (D24A4B) in wireless mode.
I disabled also the signing driver feature but when I try to install the drivers from the control panel the system refuse to install the drivers.
I attach also a screenshot of the problem:
Could somone help me ?
Thanks in avdvance
Yeah, before the last Windows Insider preview did functioned perfectly, but after the last 2 Windows updates, stopped working.
Any idea to fix the issue?
Thanks in advance.
It's impossible that a modern driver by a major vendor isn't digitally signed, so you should never need to do that. Plus, you had been using it. Feels like a bug.
Until it's resolved, assuming it's MS's problem, instead of the vendor's driver try the one straight from MS (via the install printer wizard).
Hi folks
Finally -- I know not important to a lot but could be of interest to others -- Language problem seems to be finally fixed properly on this build
Even the setup is working in selected language. Mind you Ms is really pushing EDGE -- I'm still using FIREFOX as my default browser though -- I don't like Browsers without menus etc. I'm on a computer not a "Big Mobile Phone" ot tablet.
I had already installed the build via WU but decided I'd go again to install via a clean install as I'd got a 3rd party iSCSI driver loaded which was causing chaos with mounting iso images !! and if I simply uninstalled it then the system would keep giving BSOD (or is it GSOD these days) just after boot -- so clean install seemed the obvious solution - especially as I'm running this build as a VM.
It's really making a big Sales pitch for Edge - people might get this next time they logon if they haven't seen it already,
@74lobster
Try using the HP site - but let the HP software use the built in wizard to detect your hardware and load the driver. It's better than doing it manually. If you can connect temporarily the printer via a USB cable the HP site will download appropriate software drivers and you can then select install Wireless mode. It should present a wizard on Install printer,
My experience of HP is that actually Asian sites tend to have more drivers available -- usually the instructions are in English too.
@f14tomcat
You don't have to use edge -- Firefox still is my default browser.
Cheers

Wow! You really dug back for that one! My post, Windows 10 Insider Preview Dev Build 21313 (RS_PRERELEASE) - Feb. 12, from last Friday 2/12, was a reply to Edwin in a joking manner. Do you really think I don't know? Really?
