Is it not possible to repair Office from Control Panel-> Programs and Features?

    Hi there

    No good

Either re-installl office or roll back -- roll back is easier - and I'll just wait for the next build.

    Cheers

Sounds bad. Won't it work with a full online repair?

I've checked mine btw and all is fine. Strange stuff.

    Hi there

This update broke Office 2019 for me !!! on a physical (real machine)

    Attachment 318341

Not just outlook but the whole thing

Excel for example gives same error

    Attachment 318342

Can't work without EXCEL etc !!!

Have to "bin" this update --reverting it.

    Cheers

No problems with Office 2019, or any other application here.
Updated both physical and virtual machines with no issues!

0xc0000142 has nothing to do with windows update. This is because an office update for some reason failed and now office dont start.

Task Manager seems fixed. Did I miss when that was or did this update fix it just now?

What do you mean more specifically?

Not sure if it's related but since this morning (UK time) I've been getting this with Edge Canary. It runs fine but after closing this happens. Edge Stable is fine.

I wasn't having this problem yesterday evening after doing the .804 update.

Since the update, the old Windows Photo Viewer has stopped working. I always preferred that to new Photos. Guess I'll have to move on...

How do I remove the old Windows Photo Viewer. I remember having to do a registry change to get it to show in Windows 10. Any ideas?

There's an undo reg in the tutorial. Try undoing it then redo.
