    Current status as of April 9, 2021

    On May 11, 2021, the Home and Pro editions of Windows 10, version 1909 and all editions of Windows Server, version 1909 will reach end of service. After that date, devices running these editions will no longer receive monthly security and quality updates containing protections from the latest security threats. We recommend that you update these devices to the latest version of Windows 10 immediately. Education and Enterprise editions of Windows 10, version 1909 will reach end of service May 11, 2022.     Reminder: End of service for Windows 10, version 1909 and others - May 11, 2021

    On May 11, 2021, the following versions and editions of Windows 10 will reach end of service:

    • Windows 10, version 1909: Home, Pro, Pro for Workstations and Pro Education; and Windows Server, version 1909, all editions.
    • Windows 10, version 1809: all editions except LTSC editions
    • Windows 10, version 1803 and Windows Server, version 1803: all editions

    After that date, devices running these editions will no longer receive monthly security and quality updates. As always, we recommend that you update your devices to the latest version of Windows 10 as soon as possible to ensure that you can take advantage of the latest features and advanced protections from the latest security threats.     Windows 10, version 1803 and other editions of Windows 10 have reached end of servicing

    The following versions and editions of Windows 10 have reached end of servicing.
    • Windows 10, version 1909: Home, Pro, Pro for Workstations and Pro for Education; and Windows Server, version 1909, all editions
    • Windows 10, version 1809: all editions except Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 and Windows 10 IoT Core/Enterprise 2019 LTSC
    • Windows 10, version 1803 and Windows Server, version 1803: all editions

    Windows Update will automatically initiate a feature update for Windows 10 consumer devices and non-managed business devices that are at, or within several months of reaching end of servicing. For these devices, you can choose a convenient time for your device to reboot and complete the update. This keeps your device supported and receiving the monthly updates that are critical to security and ecosystem health.
