My live tiles don't appear to work anymore? Weather app never updates and my Tile Time tile never shows the time now, all I see is the icon? Start Menu didn't want to open either? I had to turn tablet mode off to get it to open. Even though, in Tablet mode it should be open by default? I may be rolling back, as this is a big step back, for me anyway.

I just checked the weather app and the news app and both worked. I opened several other apps via their tiles and they also seem to work.

    I have an AMD chipset.

AMD CPU NVidia chip-set. Somethings messed up. I could not get the Start Screen to show. Clicking the Start Orb did nothing. Right click worked, but no Settings option in that menu. They need to fix that too, control panel is there. I had to use search to open Settings and then try different things. Turning off tablet mode got me back my Start Screen. Non of my live tile work though. This was a clean install or 10240 RTM. I the opted back into accepting insider builds. Looks like a mistake at this point, I've seen a few other posts on certain live tiles not working. Calendar is one. Mail too I think. I won't be messing around trying to do a clean install of this build. If I have to clean install it will be 10240 RTM. I'll try a roll back first though. Defiantly not impressed, but it is Pre Release software so that's what happens.

I rolled back to 10240 RTM. Have some messed up tiles now. Search, Windows Feedback, Edge, Insider hub, and a few others now have no icon, just a blank tile with the title showing. Live Tiles are working again now though. How did you fix this Wynona? I just checked and had to Stop Insider Builds. It's doing a reboot. I'll have another look see after that.

I wish. Luck of the draw or something like that? So many variables, hardware, software, how you got there? Etc. RTM was great for me. Some of the earlier Insider builds, not so much. It is what it is.

There's a few things that seem to have taken a step backwards.

To stay in Insider I think one thing is very important, that is: Backup your Device Drivers. This is the area I heard the most people having problems because without doing that.

IMHO, these forced driver updates via Windows update really needs to be changed. I've been lucky, no issues for me, but I see a lot of frustration from other forum members over this. I really don't understand why Microsoft is doing it? An under sight maybe? Updates/upgrades Ok but drivers? If anything is going to cause a BSOD, drivers are at the top of my list.
