if you go to the ReportingEvents.log file in C:/Windows/SoftwareDistribution, you can see if the phrase "Download queued" popped up today. At least in my recent experience, the .NET updates immediately get queued. But if I manually download/install the file, the queued download is cancelled.

I think the .NET preview is triggered by a "manual update check" and not by the "auto update check" like normal updates on Update Tuesday.

    .NET information

    Normal non-preview information.

On my main system I got the .NET preview and uninstalled it and will see what I get on Tuesday.

Also the "optional preview" CU does not have security updates.
A new CU that comes out on Tuesday will have addition security updates and all fixes from the preview.

Has anyone noticed their PC slowed down after installing the CU preview?
So far I’m having slow appearance of the log in screen, double-clicking to open a program doesn’t work first time & the opening programs is slow.
Currently restoring from an image to see if it improves.
